Early Years Educator

Do you want to make a difference to a young child’s development? Do you want to grow as an Early Years Educator and develop your skills? If so, Pilgrims is the place for you.

We are looking to appoint educators who hold either an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare to join our growing team. This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours a week, on a shift pattern of between 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday annually.

The ideal candidates would be passionate about working with young children, have a positive attitude, highly professional and enjoy working as part of a team. Experience of being a key worker is advantageous.

Working at Pilgrims is varied, no two days are the same, but you will always be supported working within a caring environment. We support ongoing personal development with internal and external training programmes, mentoring and dedicated training days and activities.

Early Years Support Educators

Owing to an increase in numbers of children we are looking for part time and full time Early Years Support Educators to join our busy Early Years department.

We are looking for individuals with lots of enthusiasm, creativity and an attentive, caring manner to work alongside our Early Years Educators looking after the young children in our care. You will help to support the smooth day to day running of the room ensuring you are following the school’s policies and procedures.

We are looking to recruit for positions to cover our breakfast and tea time (8.00am – 10.00am & 4.00pm – 6.00pm). Working patterns can be discussed as part of the interview process.

TEACHING ASSISTANT & WRAP AROUND CARE ASSISTANT

Monday to Friday 12 – 5.30pm term time only. Permanent Contract 27.5 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our KS1 team, sharing in our vision for the future.

The successful applicant will have experience of working in a classroom environment with KS1 children and will ensure the children get the very best from their education. In addition to this, they will be NVQ Level 2 qualified (or equivalent) or working towards obtaining the qualification.

Our classes provide an outstanding level of care and education for our children and the successful applicant must be able to demonstrate the ability to inspire, support, motivate and engage the class and provide outstanding care and education.

You will also assist the Wrap Around Care and Play Manager with the organisation, setting up, serving and clearing up of lunch and/or tea. As well as this you will set up and facilitating play and activities for the children where appropriate.

You will be working 5 days a week, Monday to Friday during term time only, covering class support and after school support in Owls. This is on a permanent contract.
